In our endeavor to guard such privacy, we inculcatestringent data privacy measures that are in accordance with the laws governing data privacy in India. Our privacy policy(“Policy”) has been formulated as per the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011(“SPDI Rules”). Following the law of the land, this policy enshrined by us would govern the matters of collection, storage, retention, processing and disclosure of Personal Information/Sensitive Personal Data or Information. By visiting our website (“Website”), you(“You”, “you”, “user”)agree and acknowledge to be bound by this Policy and youhereby consent to allow us to collect, store, process and share your Personal Information in the manner set out herein below.

Below is our full Policy, which outlines a lot of legal goodies, but the bottom line is; we always take care of you as our prime user.

  1. DEFINITIONS:
    1. Personal Information: means any information that relates to a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information, available or likely to be available with a body corporate, is capable of identifying such persons.
    2. For your convenience, Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information shall be collectively referred to as “Personal Information”.
    3. Processing: refers to any action performed on Personal Information, such as collecting, recording, organizing, storing, transferring, modifying, using, disclosing, uploading or deleting.

    The objective behind enacting this Policy is to ensure strict compliance with regards to your privacy on our Website. This Policy is in compliance with the SPDI Rules to provide you with a reasonable standard of protection and assurance of safety. Through this Policy, we seek to create a protective and secure environment for dealing with your Personal Information.

  3. SCOPE OF COVERAGE:

    The Policy shall be applicable tothe collection, processing, storage, use, disclosure, receiving, ownership of any Personal Information that we gather and process.

  4. INFORMATION WE COLLECT:
    1. We collect, receive, and store your Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us that includes your name, phone number, e-mail address, country of residence, areas of interest, life experiences, and other similar information that may be used to identify you.
    2. Personal Information that we gather when you loginto or sync data on our Website using Third-Party account credentials such as Google Accounts and Facebook, shall come under the ambit of this Policy.
    3. We may also collect technical information which may include internet protocol (IP) address, login data, browser information, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website
    4. We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the collection of Personal Information is limited to that which is necessary to fulfill the purposes detailedherein. If we use or plan to use your information in a manner different than the purpose for which it is collected, we will ask you for your explicit specific consent prior to such use.
    5. In certain special circumstances, we mayrequest you to provide us some special categories of Personal Information to provide better counseling services through our Website. Such data may include information on racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, medical data, or data on one's sex life or sexual orientation.   5. PURPOSE OF COLLECTING AND PROCESSING PERSONAL INFORMATION (“AGREED PURPOSES”):
    1. The Personal Information collected will be used only for the purpose of enabling you to use the services provided by us, help promote a safe service experience for you, calibrate consumer interest in our products and services, inform you about online offers and updates, troubleshoot problems, customize the user experience, detect and protect us against error, fraud, and other criminal activities, collect money, enforce our terms and conditions, and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection of such information. Some other uses are as follows:
      1. To improve and maintain performance: We use Personal Information to examine how our users perceive our Website and the services offered on it so that timely improvement and maintenance can be ensured.
      2. To receive donations: The spectrum of Personal Information is not limited to direct users, but donors are also required to provide Personal Information in order to trace the payments and billings back to the donor. This would also serve the purpose of documenting transactions.
      3. To monitor compliance with polices: Collecting Personal Information would allow us to monitor if the users are in check with the policies of SACH Foundation. Such data would facilitate in identifying the source of any kind of breach of our policies.

To build directories: Collating Personal Information would allow us to create a database of our users that will help us approach them for a follow up on their counselling experiences, feedbacks and to provide them further solutions. Such databases would also allow us to explore new issue and problems that people face which in turn would allow us to improvise our services from time to time.
  6. ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION:
    1. Within SACH Foundation: We may share your Personal Information within SACH Foundation strictly on a “need-to-know” basis. Our employees, IT team, representatives, subsidiaries shall use such information in consistence with the Agreed Purposesfor which the information was originally collected or subsequently authorized by you. We will not disclose Personal Information to any person outside SACH Foundation except for the Agreed Purposes, or with the user’s explicit consent, or with a legitimate interest or legal reason for doing so, such as where we reasonably consider it necessary to do so and where it is permitted by applicable law. In each instance, the disclosed Personal Information will be strictly limited to what is necessary and reasonable to carry out the Agreed Purposes.
    2. Outside SACH Foundation: The Personal Information that you share with us might be shared with our agents, contractors, affiliates, and service providers such as external data processors (“Third Parties”), to ensure that the services provided to you are catered to your needs. Such Personal Information shall be shared with these Third Parties as the Website is supported by their services and without having the necessary information, such service providers and affiliates will not be able to assist us in a manner that shall benefit our users.However, we ensure that the Third Parties have reasonable and appropriate safeguards in accordance with our Policy and the applicable data protection laws.

Our terms and conditions strictly restrict the access of minors to our Website without the explicit consent of the parent or the guardian. However, if you are a parent or guardian of a minor who has provided us his/her Personal Information without your consent, kindly let us know by writing to our grievance officer.

    The Website shall be published in India and is subject to the applicable laws of India. As an international user (located or situated outside of India) certain other data privacy laws of your territory may be applicable on processing of your personal data.     2. If you do not agree to the updated or revised Policy, you must notify us promptly that you wish to deactivate your account with us. Continued use of the Website after any change/ amendment to this policy shall indicate your acknowledgment of such changes and consent to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
  15. USER COMMUNICATIONS:

Where you transmit any information such as feedback, comment, questions, data, suggestions, image, videos or other pieces of information or contentpublicly onour Website, it shall not be considered as ‘confidential’ or ‘Personal Information’. Such information would be held as our property, whose use shall be at our discretion.
